Les deux couleurs désignent les parties engagées dans le processus de jumelage et de partage d’expertise.

Le bleu prend donc tout son sens en représentant le bénévole expert : il est expert dans son domaine, responsable, fiable et il a le désir d’aller au fond des choses. Le bleu est aussi largement utilisé pour représenter le calme, la confiance, la créativité et la responsabilité. Les bleus clairs peuvent être rafraîchissants et amicaux, tandis que les bleus foncés sont plus forts et fiables. D’autre part, le bleu évoque aussi des idées de voyages et de découvertes.
